The bread machine is truly a boon for the home baker who doesn't have a lot of extra time, but who still wants the unbeatable taste of homemade bread. ChefMate's 2-pound automatic breadmaker is focused on delivering a nice loaf without any struggle. It mixes, kneads, rises, and bakes bread automatically, with 10 different settings (including a special setting for whole-wheat bread) and a choice of 2-, 1-1/2-, or 1-pound loaves. This bread machine is pre-programmable, meaning it can bake a loaf while you're at work or sleeping--though you shouldn't use this option if using ingredients that spoil. Other nice features on this breadmaker include the ability to make cakes and jams, a beeper that tells when to add fruit and nuts, a cooldown feature, and an extra-large window that allows you to watch the bread progress.
